Twitter bird chatting

I’ve always been one of the people that dips in and out of twitter; I use it more on a work basis, as no one really wants to know what I had for breakfast, or how many goals I conceded on Sunday.

I’ve been following some interesting people over the last few months, which I came across by accident.  I wouldn’t say follow more stalk.

People like @blaisegv and @sueontheweb.  I’ve always followed the Knowledge Management route when it comes to Communities of Practice and Online facilitation of groups and never looked outside but these two have opened my eyes to so much more.

Now I can go onto these Twitter Chats.  I’ve not had a chance to get involved yet, yes I’m Lurking at the moment.  Also most of them are US time, so normally squashed on a train or of out somewhere.  I’ve not really got into this 24 hour working.

Anyway have the chance to read what other community manager are doing, and getting a chance to check if the things that I’m doing and advising other to do is correct is great.  Also some of the tips are amazing.

A couple took place last week and a big thank you to all those using #cmgrchat and #kmers
